Invention Call for Innovation

Health-tech founders face distinct challenges: regulatory complexity, clinical evaluation, and fragmented systems. These aren't just business hurdles; they're embedded in how health care works. The Invention Call for Innovation is the entry point to a high-impact pathway built to support early-stage Canadian teams tackling exactly that.

How it works

Step 1

4-week Invention Bootcamp

  • Refine the business model
  • Unlock the potential of your value proposition
  • Receive iterative feedback to assess fit for deeper support

Step 2

Invention Studio Session

Top-performing teams are invited into the 6-month Studio Session:

  • Tailored mentorship from health-tech industry experts
  • Clinical feedback and technical validation
  • Fundraising preparation
  • Showcase opportunities with clinical champions, partners and funders

Who should apply?

Open to Canadian-based, pre-revenue health-tech companies developing:

  • Digital health tools or digitally-enabled medical devices that improve access to care or enable care at home
  • Wellness, Class I or Class II devices
  • Technologies at TRL 3–6

What to expect

A competitive, high-impact program for founders ready to move quickly and build with purpose. Selected teams begin with the 4-week Bootcamp; top performers then join the Studio Session, six months where strategy meets execution, de-risking the path to market and accelerating growth.
