Adoption & Scaling

For healthcare organizations, and for health technology companies past their first sale. Typically a post-revenue company.

Healthcare organizations face growing pressures to improve patient outcomes, increase efficiency, support workforce sustainability, and deliver better care with limited resources. At the same time, many promising health technologies struggle to achieve widespread adoption within healthcare systems.

Healthcare innovation is not limited by a lack of good ideas. More often, it is limited by the complexity, time, and effort required to connect the right healthcare challenges with the right solutions.

Our mission

CORE Innovation's Adoption & Scaling team bridges this gap.

Our mission is to support the adoption and scaling of health technologies intended to improve patient and provider experiences and outcomes.

We help healthcare organizations move from reacting to technologies being pushed into the system to proactively identifying their most important challenges and pulling in solutions that address real clinical and operational needs, while helping health technology companies understand those needs, navigate the healthcare environment, and engage the right stakeholders to accelerate adoption and scale.

We support both sides of the innovation ecosystem:

  • Organizations seeking solutions to pressing operational, clinical, and system-level challenges.
  • Innovators looking to validate, implement, and scale proven solutions within healthcare systems.

By connecting healthcare priorities with market-ready innovation, CORE Innovation helps reduce the friction, duplication, and effort associated with adoption, creating a clearer pathway from healthcare challenge to sustained impact.

Who we support

Healthcare organizations

Healthcare organizations often know the challenges they're trying to solve but may need support identifying, evaluating, implementing, and scaling innovative solutions.

We work with hospitals, health systems, community organizations, and healthcare decision-makers to:

  • Identify innovation opportunities
  • Evaluate emerging technologies
  • Support procurement and implementation planning
  • Generate evidence and measure impact
  • Scale successful solutions across the organization

Is this side for you?

You're a physician, clinic group, healthcare provider, hospital, health region or network looking to:

  • Bring a proven tool into your own practice without vetting or sourcing it alone
  • Bring in proven innovation without building a risky pilot from scratch
  • Solve a real clinical or operational problem you've already named
  • Adopt technology that fits your workflow, not the other way around
  • Use matched funding so budget isn't the reason you settle for the status quo

You get a Hospital Success Manager

Not a queue, and not a sales rep. One named person who owns your deployment from the first conversation about the problem through to the day the technology is just part of a normal Tuesday.

  • Our Hospital Success Managers come from inside hospitals: clinical practice leaders and health-innovation project managers who know what it takes for new technology to survive contact with a working ward.
  • Yours handles the internal navigation, approvals and stakeholder alignment that usually stall a deployment, so your team doesn't absorb that work.
  • They stay past go-live. A deployment isn't finished when it's installed; it's finished when people use it without being asked.

Who we support

Health technology companies

If you've made your first sale and have customers, and you're looking to further validate, implement, or scale, we can help.

We work with health technology companies to navigate health system adoption and accelerate growth through strategic projects focused on implementation, evaluation, and expansion.

Talk about scaling →

Our approach

  1. Step 1

    Identify challenges

Work with healthcare organizations to understand priority needs and opportunities for improvement.

  2. Step 2

    Match solutions

Connect healthcare partners with innovative technologies that address identified challenges.

  3. Step 3

    Validate & implement

Support evaluation, implementation planning, stakeholder alignment, and evidence generation.

  4. Step 4

    Scale impact

Help successful solutions expand across programs, departments, organizations, and health systems.

How it works

Every challenge is different.

Rather than offering a standardized program, the Adoption & Scaling team works with healthcare organizations and companies to develop engagements that address their specific goals and challenges.

Projects are developed collaboratively with healthcare organizations and move forward when there is a strong fit between organizational needs, solution readiness, and shared goals.

Our role is to bring the right expertise, partners, and stakeholders together to move innovation into practice.

We scope before anyone commits. A short definition phase confirms the fit and sets what success looks like, then the work is built around that. Engagements are scoped to the work rather than sold from a price list.

One bridge

The same engine carries both sides

Whichever side you're on, you cross on the same infrastructure: the 8-80 regional network of health institutions, care settings validated with partners like CHEO, the CHEO Research Institute and Bruyère, and matched adoption funding, with CORE doing the matching in the middle.

Not sure where you fit?

Every innovation journey is different.

Wherever you are in your journey, we're here to help connect you with the right people, resources, and support.

If you've already made your first sale and are working on adoption, implementation, or growth within healthcare systems, Core Adoption & Scaling may be the right fit.
